About Me

I have a post-graduate diploma in psychotherapy (HG Dip P, MHGI)  Reg. No. 164858.  I am a cisgender heterosexual therapist with close ties to LGBT+ individuals and understand the complexities of navigating within a heterosexist society.

I hail from the alternative scene of the early 2000s and haven’t strayed far, although increasing age has made me more circumspect and these days I have opened up my areas of interest.

I offer psychotherapy face-to-face and/or via videocall – contact me to find out more, or book a free short, introductory session to ask me any questions.

I have an enhanced DBS check.

I am disabled and currently have some mobility issues.  Working as a psychotherapist is meaningful and worthwhile – I’m able to do this work from my home therapy office and it has become an important part of my life.

If you require an appointment outside my bookable slots, please enquire if this can be accommodated – I may be able to help.

Charlotte Graves

I have supported clients with many issues, these have included:

  • coping with life and relationship changes
  • depression and anxiety
  • sexual abuse
  • trauma and PTSD
  • grief and bereavement
  • OCD
  • body image issues and struggles with self-esteem
  • LGBTQ+ issues
  • being neurodivergent in this neurotypical world

I most commonly support clients in the 18-30 age group, clients with chronic illness, neurodivergent clients, non-binary or transgender clients, or any ‘alternative’ clients who might appreciate working with a kindred therapist.

I have a quiet, private therapy room where we can talk about whatever is bothering you.
Get in touch if you think I may be able to help you.
